Bad Points

Battery adapter (the small plastic thing in the back of the laptop breaks after about a year, and Dell then demands £200+ to repair it. The DVD drive has stopped functioning as a DVD drive. And to top it all, I have had to replace the screen and charger.


General Comments

The laptop has far too many problems. Starting with its self destructing qualities. The screen is good, but the device occasionally loses all screen resolution, and the Dell Inspiron 1150 has been known to crash for no reason, and the battery never lasts for more than two hours.

Go and buy a better laptop, that is not branded as either Dell or Sony, and you will do fine.
