Yorkshire Bank were great... from 1990 to 1997. I have no idea how a company can have such an extreme decline in customer service.
Bad Points
At one point I had my current account, home insurance, credit card and mortgage with them. Each time they messed me around I warned them I would take an account away. I am now taking away my current account, as all the others were already long gone.
General Comments
I have banked with Yorkshire Bank for approximately 16 years. The once friendly, flexible, prompt customer service of Yorkshire Bank is now a thing of the past. Their methods are dated, their customer service non-existent and their staff are very unhelpful. I can only assume they are doing exceptionally well if they no longer need to care about losing customers.
