Their call centre.
Mechanics and legal team are all excellent.
None, I have had no problems at all.
After 40 minutes of waiting, I rang RAC Breakdown Cover, as I do have cover with them too. I had broken down in my Chrysler and had originally called Chysler Privilege to come and recover me, which was becoming a regular thing as my car had broken down plenty of times (see Kings Chrysler review). I was told that as it was out of hours they would try and get someone to me as soon as they could but they could not give a time scale even though I am a women, was on my own, and was on a country lane!
I explained the situation to the lady at the call centre and told her that I had called another company to recover me too, she said that she was not concerned about that but was concerned that I was on my own and so put me as a high alert for one of the breakdown mechanics to come out to me.
He was out to me over an hour before the other company decided to turn up, who sent a disgustingly scruffy breakdown truck and mechanic to boot, who was nothing short of perverted. Luckily the RAC man saw the look on my face and said that he had been told he had to take me home, which was a 20 mile drive. What a STAR!!! Definitely above and beyond what I expected and I was sooo glad that I had called the RAC because if the other recovery man had turned up and I had still been on my own, I think I would have locked myself in my car and stayed there rather than go anywhere with him!
To explain, the reason why the RAC man could not tow my car is because of the shape of the Chrysler's bonnet, he would have had to have called for a truck and as we knew I had one some where on the way, he stayed with me until it arrived.
Due to the problems with my Chrysler, I was referred by the RAC to their legal department who helped me step by step to successfully get all of my money back for the Chrysler.
