Good Points

Funny faces you can make to put beside the numbers of the people in my life who annoy me! When they call me. Up pops the silliest face beside thier number.
It is also quick to charge up.
Stylish to look at.

Bad Points

If my A50 has too many text messages stored. It often crashes and will not delete them
It is also a nightmare to send texts as you cannot enter the phone book to select a number once you have constructed your message.
It is very hard to find accessories.

General Comments

I would not advise anyone to purchase a siemens A50. I have had mine since christmas 2002, and have encountered many little problems. Crashing is a common occurence if my inbox is over 25 messages. I have many phone numbers and when i text someone i have to manually scroll through every entry to find the number i want to send to. This can be time consuming, in relation to nokia you can type in the first letter. C will bring up all entries beginning with C. This is a big drawback.

I have had my A50 since Christmas - it currently has 27 stored txt msgs - no problems. Am now having difficulty receiving txt - this appears to be a handset problem - anybody else expriencing this? It is going back to Siemens for repair.

i totally agree! ive had mine for a year and its going up the wall completely! it is always freezing and just doesn;t seem to work very well. However as for the phonebook thing, mine works fine if you just press the letter. Maybee you just have a faulty phone. I am dying for a new phone but i cant afford one at the moment, i just dont know how im going to cope with it for much longer!- NOBODY BUY ONE OF THESE PHONES!!!!!!!!

Yep, my phone has started crashing too.. I've had it since xmas 2002 and now the inbox won't let me open messages - if I try to it just crashes. This may be because the inbox is quite full but it still shouldn't happen. Apart from that, it has been quite good.
