Very easy to put up after the first time
Really well made compared to similarly priced tents on the market
Loads of room - simply massive if you only use one inner
The tent is extremely stable in wind, even without the tension band system
The panel of different material in the roof means it's very light inside
Rained most of the the first holiday we used it, no rain ingress at all (comes with sealed seams)
Windows big enough to see out without everyone knowing your business
None really. If I'm being nit-picky, then you have to be careful entering or leaving in heavy rain to stop a small amount of rain dripping inside
The Vango Oregon 800 is a great tent, and I would thoroughly recommend it. You can stand up throughout most of the tent, including the sleeping compartments (something which isn't true of many tents). The sides are essentially vertical, meaning you can put items up close.
It doesn't have an inner tent in the living area, but all the tents that do that I have seen at outdoor exhibitions seem to get damaged quite easily. In my view this arrangement avoids damp in the UK climate, and offers better air circulation in hot regions such as France.
What can I say? It is a thoroughly good buy for the money!
