Fun to use, clear voice directions and clear maps.
Loses satellite signal too easily, maps hopelessly out-of-date and TomTom website doesn't work well.
The TomTom Go 910 is fun to use and generally works quite well but the maps let it down. I bought it in October 06, and quite a few newer roads are absent, for example, the Lamberhurst Bypass (a trunk route on the A21) isn't on it and it's been open for a year and a half!
The thing that attaches it to the windscreen is difficult to use because the bit you have to turn to attach it is poorly designed and behind the unit, so difficult to get it. Even if you do manage to fix it on, it doesn't hold the unit rigid as it's supposed to, which means it gradually tilts down as you drive along.
There were also big areas where there is no signal, on the A27 for example, it works fine west-east but not east-west! Try to make a comment about any of this on the TomTom website and you'll find the feedback section doesn't work.
