Cheap quotes!
Were of no help whatsoever when somebody tried to claim off me.
My husband was also on my insurance. I don't know what happened, but he and another lady touched cars. He was on a hill in traffic behind her. Anyway, the third party phoned and stated we had done £800 worth of damage and she needed her boot realigned. So, we decided to go through insurance companies. He took me to her car a day later, and we noticed that the side of the car had been damaged. Considering I had full cover, I had no help or support. I was told an assessor was going to come round and check the damage on my car (there was none, as my husband didn't even feel the cars touch). I am still waiting for that to happen. Her assessor for her insurance confirmed the damage on the vehicle as what we had done, and Privilege paid up. I was fuming, as there was no way on this Earth we could have done that damage without getting one scratch on ours. During this time as well (even though it wasn't proven on both parties, as she never claimed in the end) my insurance was due for renewal. They couldn't justify for the previous year I was paying £500 and my premium went up to £1200 when there was no claim on me at all! I would never go with these people again.
