I found that Accelerate Bristol gave me good information through road tests and its Motoring Features but most importantly brought to my attention where in the Bristol and Greater Bristol area the Dealerships were and what specific offers they had on at the time. I read a review on the New Clio which I ended up test driving and next to the review were the prices and offers that my local Renault dealer was doing on the New Clio. I thought this was great as I didnt have to, ring this number for your nearest stockist information!
The other major point that I liked was that it's a good read and not just full of adverts. Bearing in mind that it gets delivered to me free of charge, it's a super glossy publication. I'm not a Car Buff but it conveys things to you in Layman terms, after all we are not all like Jeremy Clarkson!
I have not received every issue, when I contacted the publication they told me just under 134,000 get delivered and that whilst the same postcodes are delivered to, the sectors within these postcodes alternate.
At last a Car Magazine that is produced on a local level that gives you the facts and low down on New Cars and informs me about my local dealerships. I receive a Free Newspaper through my door every week called The Observer, it is just full of adverts and contains only a small car section. So Accelerate is great because it's Free and most importantly it is informative.
