Good Points

Excellent service from all employees. The cabin steward did an excellent job of maintaining our room, and did some extra things for us. Outstanding food and service in the restaurants. Some of the waiters gave us extra helpings that we didn't ask for to rectify some problems that came up, which I feel is another example of excellent service. Tours were well organised and informative. A good variety of activities and good entertainment. I took a photography class that was very informative. Ship very clean and well maintained for its age and size. Crew takes great pride in her. Friendly atmosphere throughout the ship. All passengers were friendly and we had a good time sitting with people from other parts of the world at all meals. We booked the Doubletree Hotel across the street from Seatac airport before and after the cruise. Good room and good food in the restaurant. A Princess rep is there throughout the day and evening. We rented a car, an '06 Hyundau Sonata, and drove to Mt.St. Helens. It was a nice drive through southern Washington

Bad Points

The inconveniences we had did not occur on the ship. The firm was to greet us at the airport because the the plane was late. Princess is working with this firm to correct this situation. So we took the hotel's shuttle bus to the hotel, which was across the street from the airport. On the way to the ship, the bus was delayed for twenty minutes from waiting for a freight train with cargo containers that was sitting on the track. The bus driver mentioned that this is an ongoing problem since the cruise ships are next to the cargo container area in the Port of Seattle. So he turned around and took an alternate route through old town Seattle and gave a talk. This was not part of the drive to the ship.

General Comments

Princess Cruises do a good job of providing services of excellent quality. They go out of their way to make a cruise as perfect as possible. Employees are receptive to concerns and make a sincere effort to address any problems. I am satisfied with the level of excellent service on this cruise. We had a great time for our 10th Anniversary.
