Good selection of products.


Bad Points

More security guards in the dpeartment store than there are shop assistants.


General Comments

The Manchester branch of House of Fraser feels like a jailhouse. There are more security guards in the department store than there are shop assistants. On more than one occasion the security guards have followed me around the shop. I even resorted to complaining to the store manager, who did not satisfactorily address my complaint. There are other department stores, such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, that offer similar types of products, but manage to treat their customers with the necessary respect.
