The CD that comes with the magazine has some pretty useful tutorials. The tutorials seem to be kept simple, which is good for beginners.
The tutorials and images that are to be used should be kept together in one folder for each author.
Digital Photo is not a bad magazine. As this is the first time I have seen it I do not know if the subject of calibration has been dealt with. Also, one needs to discuss profiles at the same time. It is not much use doing all the fancy manipulation etc., if the monitor profile does not match the printer profile.
