Good Points

Slick web site creator. Cheap hosting. Lots of pop 3's and plenty of space. Large organisation.


Bad Points

If you do have technical problems, and ive had a few now, it can take weeks to fix problems. Mainly because any development work has to be sent to the team back in Germany !! I waited a long time to get some of my bugs fixed and the support was not always very helpful, on occasion they refused to beleive i had any problems.


General Comments

It only takes a few hours to design and build your site with the 1 AND 1 website creator which is easy to use and produces nice looking pages. However, it is not very flexible when it comes to editing your details, you can get the basics right, but any more and you could come unstuck so give it a try before you buy. I am still fairly happy with my site (www.kinesio.co.uk), but it was not without problems getting started. The company seem professional and try to be helpful, but they do suffer a few of the typical helpdesk types who assume that customers are computer illiterate fools who can easily be baffled with their technical ramblings....beware ! Apart from that they seem to be good on uptime and reasonable on speed.
Give the website creator a try, its a blast.
