Good Points

He's loyal, protective, extremely friendly and great fun to be with, loves to play with my daughter and realises she is smaller than me so is much easier going on her. Loves his walks, is very good with other dogs and he even likes cats. He will do anything for a biscuit.

Bad Points

Barking and humping and trying to run away, so can't be left in the garden.

General Comments

I got my 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier from a rescue centre about a year ago. He was a bit difficult to begin with, was very withdrawn and sad, but soon settled and has been a brilliant companion. He loves his walks and is always eager to please although he does have a tendency to annoy the other half, I definitely think he is a woman's dog.

I am reluctant to have his bits chopped but think I need to as he humps everything, but is not a chewer unless you give him an empty Coke bottle or the neighbours leather football. (Oooops!)

He's brilliant on his lead, doesn't pull unless he needs a pooh (lol). He's also very protective but knows when you are just playing, he understands hand signals so doesn't have to be told when to stop.

He's fantastic with my daughter and any of her friends that come over, definitely a dog I would recommend. He has been very easy to train, responds better to hands signals and facial expressions than he does words.
