General Comments

I had never driven abroad before, so I booked car hire through a UK company (broker). I searched the internet for the cheapest price and found Premier CarJet. I had never heard of them but the price seemed cheap, and the blurb was good, so I decided rather than book online, that I would ring them. The quotes online were very simple. You receive an email confirmation. When I rang the company I got a really helpful lady who talked me through things. She knew the airport as she had been there, and she explained the location of the car hire office, and how to even get out of the airport and to where we where staying. She was very helpful, so I gladly booked the car over the phone. I received instant confirmation, and I didn't even need to pay for the car until I arrived in Spain.

Upon arrival I got my hire car through an excellent English speaking representative of Solmar. I had booked a Ford Fusion, but I was happy to find a free upgrade to a Peugeot 307, which I must add was spotlessly clean and brand new. I was very happy. Friends have also booked through the same company on our recommendations, and I will certainly be using them again on my next trip to Spain.
