General Comments

I have had the Daystate Harrier X2 Ambi Beech for over a year now. It's the best rifle I have ever owned or shot! The accuracy is superb - easily out shooting me! I'm told it can put a pellet through the same hole at 40 yards!

The finish is superb, the rich dark beach ambidextrous stock is lovely - even if it's not walnut. It is nice to hold and comes to the cheek well.

the trigger is the best I've used on a sporting rifle, better that the one on the Air Arms s410. It is a 2 stage jobby and is very crisp. I have left it on factory settings but I'm sure it could be adjusted easily if required!

The x2 has a multi shot magazine (10 shots), this is very good but it is a spring powered one - not as good as the hw100 magazine. Saying that, it has never caused a problem for me and I have often rattled off all 10 shots in a few seconds with no problems. A single shot tray is also available but I haven't got one - it's ideal for target use!

The factory silencer is OK but I would advise getting another. I recommend the Weirauch silencer - it's the best on the market!

Topped with a Nikko Stirling 4-12X42 I can hit almost anything with it!

I would highly recommend the x2 - it's a great piece of kit, granted it's not the cheapest PCP on the market, but it's arguably one of the best. Fitted with the regulator option, it would be even better.

An ideal piece of kit for the slightly more experienced air rifle user or indeed the beginner.

Daystate have also got a great after sales service, they recommend that the rifle is sent to them every 3 years for a service - free!

All in all - buy it!!!! You won't regret it - I don't.

I was disappointed with this gun because it is heavy, and the loading is not up to much. And, you have got to agree that the stock is cheap! Two things I did like about the Daystate Harrier X2 Ambi Beech are: 1) it's quiet and 2) it's accurate.
