General Comments

This was the third time I've stayed in the Pine Valley hotel in Hisaronu. I stayed there twice last year and again this September. I was back only a few days when I re-booked to go again next year in May and September. A friend has also tried to book for September next year when I go, but it is already fully booked for those 2 weeks (with Thomas Cook). That says it all really doesn't i?

My first impressions on my first stay was how friendly the staff were. They showed me to my room, and then went back for my bags. On entering the room the first thing I noticed was just how clean it was. There were no cobwebs lurking in the corners, no smelly bathroom, and the floor was clean; not dusty or gritty like some places. This was not only my first visit to the hotel but my first to Turkey, and being on my own I was a little apprehensive, but their friendliness soon put me at ease.

The food is really nice, and I can honestly say there was nothing I didn't like, but they do like to add a lot of sugar to some things, so if you don't have a sweet tooth stay away from the deserts.

The entertainment is good with something to suit everyone's taste, and although I've seen some of it a few times now, it is still quite funny. There is something every night; BBQ with Latin dancers, Break dancers and of course the Full (well 99%) Monty, which is done by the waiters of the hotel. There is also a Turkish night, Bingo night, Staff Cabaret night and more.

Olu Deniz beach is a short Dolmuch ride away, costing less than £1. It is a must visit, with the Blue Lagoon.

All I can say now is, I'm looking forward to my next visit next May!
