Good Points

Accuracy, easy cocking, easy to handle and light.

Bad Points

Light weight takes some getting use to. It is easier to achieve a steady hold on target with a heavier rifle.

General Comments

I sold my RWS 350 and bought a Beeman R-7. While I gave up significant ft.lbs. of energy, I gained a rifle that I can shoot all day long. I have a static target at 35 yards and I am hitting 1/2 inch bulls eyes regularly. My groups are tight and the R7 is just fun to shoot. Not hold sensitive and shoots most pellets well. Build quality is very good and the rifle feels solid.

Today I became weary of shooting the small tin can I had hung with twine on a post at my 35 yard target. So, I took aim and shot the twine cleanly from the can. I smiled, called it a day, and went inside very happy with my purchased decision. This gun will always be a part of my collection.

    Thanks for the review.

It would help to know what cal. it is chambered for, .177 or .20 ?

Hoolee. My Beeman R7 is .177 IMHO. It would be underpowered in anything larger than .177 or 4.5mm.
