They did get a discount on the rack price of a very good hotel, but...

General Comments
...Despite several frustrating email requests for assurance on flight arrangements, they managed to contradict themselves, and ultimately fail to do what they had confirmed they would do, therefore leaving me spending two hours at departure, with an increasingly distressed family sorting out payment of tickets they had confirmed were booked and paid for. To complete the picture a letter of complaint was not responded to, despite being both sent and faxed to Expedia (you can't enter into a dialogue with senior management by email). Any price benefit obtained is not warranted for the hassle of the service shortcomings.
I hope and pray they either start to take some genuine interest in customer service. Had I not been both assertive and reasonably aware of how to get things resolved despite them, we would not have had our planned holiday. Heaven knows how many families suffer even worse experiences.
