The kitchen area was clean and had good cooking facilities.
Beds, bedding and toilets were awful!!
We arrived on Friday afternoon, planning to stay until Monday, but came home on Saturday. The caravan was awful! We booked a Silver Caravan that is described as luxury on the Haven website. Luxury in a third world country maybe! All curtains and upholstery needed cleaning. The mattresses smelled, the duvets had stains, the provided linen had holes (I've thrown better out). The shower cubicle was growing mould, the toilet was covered stains. There was mould or dirt down the corners of the beds. The roof throughout was covered in cobwebs. The highchair had chewing gum stuck to it, and the bed guard was dirty.
Entertainment consists of some slot machines and a dodgy cabaret. The Haven website states there is plenty of entertainment for younger children (under 5's) at Haggerston Castle, but there was none that I could see, or read in their handout. We never made it to the swimming as it shut at 6.00pm, and we couldn't wait to leave first thing on Saturday morning.
We were offered a move when checking out, but by that time we just wanted the comfort of our own home.
