Good for downloads
Great value for money
The Buttons easily come off
The brightness of the screen if not plugged into mains
Hard to contact the company
Advent's are a very good value for money, but they have a few downfalls.
The Advent 7081 laptop is good for downloads, as it is really fast and is great value for money. It does as good a job as those expensive laptops do, except they're hundreds of pounds more.
Unfortunately, The Buttons easily come off, and if you don't have the laptop plugged into the mains, the brightness of the screen goes way down, no matter how much battery life you have. Also, if there's a problem with your Advent, it's really hard to contact their customer support, as they don't even have their own web site; so make sure it's insured!
