Easy to navigate and heaps of info on each restaurant. You can also download free discount vouchers to get up to 25% discount. Free entry into competitions. Lots of other local information.
Bad Points
Currently only in Newcastle and Central Coast (NSW, Australia).
General Comments
Nice website for locals. Since I started using Eat Local I don't make a table reservation until I get online and check out the menu, see if there are any vouchers and see if there are any 'local secrets' (regular discount nights, entertainment, etc). My friend also won a competition (I haven't been so lucky yet) and had an awesome meal (valued at about $80-100) for free!
The newsletters are really good. I hate subscribing to email usually but I accidently said 'yes' and the first one was so funny I stayed on the mailing list.
If you're in Newcastle or Central Coast you should check it out.
