In general the Epson Photo RX620 multifunction printer is excellent. Excellent print quality, speed, scanning and copying. In this respect, I couldn't wish for a better machine, but after only just over 1 year of home use, the Epson Photo RX620 printer would not allow me to print anymore, with the message 'Internal parts have reached the end of their service life'. I have never had this with any other printer before, and this is the first Epson I have owned. My independent engineers opinion is that it is a ploy on behalf of the manufacturer to make sure you buy Epson cartridges. I use compatible cartridges, as the majority of users do, as original Epson cartridges are far too expensive. A friend of mine owns an RX600, which has far more use than my RX620, and it has not been serviced at all, and has not displayed any message indicating that it should, and has certainly not stopped printing, as has happened with mine.
