Good Points

Quiet and self feeding


Bad Points

Cuts into 6 - 7 inch lengths with notches. No hopper, and so not easy to put back poorly shredded material.


General Comments

I agree with the previous reviews of Patkin and Angelabrison. I can also see the point made by mickhefferin, in that if the Ryobi garden shredder was well manufactured, it would be possible to set it up to work properly. My shredder has a lopsided cutter, and so it can only be adjusted to cut branches once per revolution, and hence, it spits out 6 - 7 inch lengths of notched branches.

It's a pity, as it is a good design that should work, but shoddy manufacturing means you have a good chance of getting a poor shredder.
