I am not happy with this service at all. I booked a ticket on their website on 13th Oct 2006. It was for return ticket from Los Angeles to New Delhi, leaving on 17th Dec 2006 and returning 14th Jan 2006. Website stated the ticket for $1496. I liked the ticket price I purchased it, Pnr # was also provided. Couple days later I received an email stating that there was a discrepancy with my reservation; apparently the price posted on site wasn't correct. And I have been asked to pay extra $210 in order to keep the reservation.
This is no way to do business, I committed to $1496 price because it was posted on the website, I didn't negotiate this price, and I received an email from your website showing my itinerary.
As there was no fault from my side, why should I be penalized to pay an extra fare charge. I paid or I made transaction with price of $1496 and I believe it should be honored. Asking me for extra $200 is very unethical.
I called and I was talking to their representative, the gentleman kept appologizing for the fault on their side but was not providing the solution to it and said that they won't be able to honor the price I made the transaction with.
I am really unhappy with their way of doing business. I will make sure that I will take all action in my legal capability to let people know what I went through.
I believe a decent company would have paid for that difference of price in order to make their customer happy. I believe what's done to me breaks Uniform commercial code.
I look forward to seek legal help on this issue.
