General Comments

I have only just started using my new Air Arms S200 MkII. I have fitted a Bipod, Simmons 3-9 x 50, the 10 shot mag and an Air Arms Silencer. My main use is rabbit clearance. I was using a Webley Longbow to good effect but I found that when I missed (rarely), then the rabbits would stay there for another shot. Problem was that the movement/noise required to cock and load for a second shot sent every rabbit in the county scurrying for home.

That definitely doesn't happen with this rifle. More of a "phut" than a crack and the movement required to reload is negligible. I shoot left handed too.

I also found that it is not too keen on cycling Crossman Accupells. I have now changed to Air Arms 5.51 to great effect.

A friend of mine, who is a former Para Sniper had a go with it and was breaking discarded clay pigeons at 50 yards and then picking off the remnants.

The only reason that I have marked it down on handling is because it has no safety catch on it and it makes me very aware of guarding the trigger. Especially round bushes that could accidentally snag it.

I really like this rifle and I am looking forward to learning to use it as well as my mate does. I don't think that will be any problem because there is so little recoil that joined holes to 3/8" at 33 yards is a doddle.

Both newcomers and experts alike should be delighted with it. My wife couldn't use my break-barrel because of the cocking effort required, no effort at all is required with the S200 MkII. You could spend more on an air rifle but with this around, there is really no need to do so.

Hi, what Bipod have you fitted, and was there a problem fitting to the flat bottomed fore-stock?

Hi, what Bipod did you fit? and did you find the flat bottomed forestock a problem? Most bipods I have looked at have deep curves to the fixing plates.

The S200 is truly a great air gun, I only sold mine because I got the chance to get an S410 which is superb. I took out many pigeons and squirrels with my S200, for an air gun that was originally designed to be a pistol its top notch

I fitted a Harris extendable, folding Bipod.
An attaching bolt is drilled and screwed into the fore end and the Bipod attached to that. The fore end MUST be removed from the Rifle first to avoid accidental drilling of the reservoir.
I found that the curved sides of the mount fit nicely along the square edge of the fore end and that stops the mount from rotating.
The legs should fold up forwards.
