The Nokia N70 is a very enjoyable phone to use, the screen is large and very clear, the microphone and speakers are more than adequate, the loudspeaker is great but not quite enough bass. The menus are similar to previous Nokia generation phones using the same or similar operating system, the messaging and picture messaging functions are straight forward. Connecting to my PC is no problem for the first time, all the software and USB cables you need to do this are included with the phone (at last).
Bad Points
The handset is a little big. As the 3G technology and small handset graphics improve, no doubt these 'Smart' phones will get better and better. The operating system can be a little slow to refresh between menus, bigger on board phone memory is required. The camera has a plastic sliding shield which protects the lens, however this can become exposed in your pocket on occasion and this unlocks the phone and can activate your menus unintentionally, however, this is very very rare. The flash is not that good.
General Comments
I love this Nokia N70 phone enough to await my contract end, with excitement so that I can choose the next generation Nokia phone with confidence, that I would not change to another brand. Overall this phone is wicked and I really enjoy it!! Nokia all the way!!
