Good Points
Can't think of any
Bad Points
(1) Entire unit very large and clumsy
(2)Docking/Charging station poor design - difficult to get unit docked.
(3) UK Maps well out of date
(4) Voice instructions can be ambiguous so you have to look at the map while driving - not safe!
General Comments
Windscreen docking station is a joke - takes me 4 or 5 attempts to dock the TomTom Go 510, then I have to rest the unit on the dash because the weight of it pulls the docking platform down as you drive along, until the screen eventually faces downwards! The next fault is that often the 510 just will not boot up! There is a reset button but you have to insert a needle into its so small (I only found out about this by reading this forum), it is marked on the diagram in the instruction book but there is no reference to it, no troubleshooting guide. If you happen to drive through Glasgow city centre you will be amused by some of the street names being in Gaelic for some obscure reason and other street names are just plain wrong. The UK map is out of date and I mean like about 2 years out of date. Really, for £350 this is not good value for money!
