Good Points

3 pools.
Good food in poolside restaurant.


Bad Points

Noisy hotel. Doors banging, street noise from buses and boy racers.
Bad selection of breakfasts.
Reception staff.
Hotel leaks like a sieve when it rains and rooms flood.
No maintenance being carried out in this hotel.
Paintwork chipped, plasterwork unpainted, balcony doors falling apart, air conditioning faulty, damp musty smells throughout the hotel.


General Comments

Malta in general needs to get up-to-date with regards to food in restaurants, as there is a very poor selection, and it is very bad value for money.

I would not holiday at the Dolman Resort Hotel in Buggiba again if I was paid to, as I spent 2 weeks with very little sleep due to constant loud street noises from boy racers and the bus terminus beside the hotel. This hotel was meant to be 4 star, but in my experience it does not even live up to 2 stars.

    I disagree with this review because we have just spent a week in this hotel after being relocated from san antonio hotel as they had double-booked rooms.
    Staff at dolmen are very polite and pleasant, rooms very clean and comfortable yet the air-conditioning was noisy and inadequate. Batubulan seaview restaurant was fab and cafe delos in hotel was very good. Biggest fault was noisy disrespectful kids in indoor pool , yet there was signage indicating children were to be accompanied at all times - but that was the fault of the parents!
