Good Points

The Turbos(they sound like aeroplanes) because when these bad boys come in they throw you back into the chair and cause a grin that can't be wiped off, lol. I was so impressed with the speed.
The shape of the car is also one of its best points. Remember that this car cost in the region of £40,000 to £45,000 when it first came out in the streets, but the high level of star trek gadgetry scares a lot of people, therefore the rapid depletion of cost.

Bad Points

The reliability of the engine.
I never thought a car would be prone to so much damage.
The bottom end of the car is supposed to be strong and handle around 400bhp, but it will break very easily. Result - new piston and crank or engine - £2000.
Unless you are a millionaire and don't mind wasting a few hundred every week, then I'd say don't get one. If I was rich I'd keep mine and rebuild the engine which would cost £4000 but even after that, there will always be problems.
Plus the fuel, GTOs just love fuel.
You can't race these for longer than 10 minutes as something will go, guaranteed.

General Comments

If you would like something to race, get a rear wheel drive, I have had experience with all and rear wheel are definitely the best. Don't get me wrong, these Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 cars are the dog's nads, but I'm sick of it. I've had it for 2 years and it's been on my drive, most of it, having rebuilds and new components and I don't even race!!

You will be impressed but be warned that these will cost you a fortune. Plus they are really hard to see gains from tuning. At tops you'd get it to 430-450 but then after that, sell your house. Get something that's bulletproof and easy to tune, get an evo. Not my choice in car but the engines are the best made.
