Good Points

I fully enjoyed my stay. All of it is a good point!

Bad Points

There could have been more entertainment, but this did not prevent me from enjoying my stay.

General Comments

This was by far the most enjoyable holiday I have ever been on. The staff were very friendly, and they would do anything to make the stay enjoyable. I was feeling ill one day and one of the bar men went into the kitchen and got some fresh lemons and did me a drink with honey, hot water, lemons and ice, which made me feel miles better.

The pool, hotel, rooms and surrounding hotel ground was always very clean. The food was repetitive, but it was always very tasty and I did not contract Egyptian stomach, as you do in most resorts in Egypt. There are 3 shops on-site at the Taba Sea Star Hotel, and a longwood office where you can book any excursions you wish to go on.

Upon arrival at the hotel, a member of staff would greet you, wait while you get sorted at reception and then escort you, carrying your bags to your room. I found him very pleasant, and many of the other guests had a member of staff take their cases to reception upon leaving.

I would thoroughly recommend this holiday to those of you wanting a break from your everyday life. This may not be the right holiday for teenagers or small children, but I am young and I am going again. I was sad to return, and I can't wait to go back to this hotel. Again, I cannot praise the staff there enough. I have never met such lovely friendly people in my life. There is nothing surrounding this hotel, but personally I think that adds to the beauty of the place. If you want a built-up area that is full of tourists, you should go to Spain. Unfortunately, I believe that all around this hotel will be built-up and commercialised in 10 years time, so go while the beauty of the mountains and Beduin people (mountain people) can still be seen.
