They have no concept of customer service. I have a construction loan, and my builder will never work with a client who has GMAC again. The way they do business slows down the building time, and I've had to get two loan extensions because of it. I have tried to tell them I am unhappy, and they really don't seem to care.
There are plenty of mortgage lenders out there who have great customer service. GMAC is not one of them. They are too corporate, and don't seem to care about keeping customers happy. When I refinance, it will not be with GMAC.
