“My Savage 93R17 BVSS .17 HMR is a really nice looking,...”

Good Points
Price - At $289, with scope mounts from Sportsman's Warehouse, it is a good deal.
AccuTrigger - The triggers on these things are amazing.
Great looking, feels good to hold and shoot. Nice finish.
The common problems of the past in these guns have been fixed regarding the clip. At least on mine anyway.
Great accuracy.

Bad Points
Not much really

General Comments
My Savage 93R17 BVSS .17 HMR is a really nice looking, grey-ish, green-ish, blue-ish wood stock and stainless barrel and action. The thing drove tacks at 100 yards right out of the box. It shoots beautifully and you will love the AccuTrigger pull. It comes set to it's lowest setting (2.5 lbs I think) from the factory. (See for more info.) I would like to try the thumb hole stock as well. Seems that Savage has gone and put the high quality trigger on all or most of its newer rim-fires, including many of the lower cost models. You can spend less and still get a great gun with a great trigger.
