Good Points

The only good points of this holiday were the weather, the excursions and the other holiday makers.


Bad Points

The bad points of this holiday were the general lack of maintenance around buildings. The hotel was supposed to be a four star, but it was not! It was a 2 star, so it was VERY overrated in the Thomas Cook brochure. The tiles around the pool were broken, and there were tiles missing, resulting in the pool being closed for half days. The remote in the room was broken, and the shower curtains were worn and torn. The rooms in general were in a very poor condition. The cleaners left the doors open whilst cleaning other floors. There were bugs and dirt under the beds, and construction work (swimming pool and playground) around the hotel, that we were not informed of. The staff were not very friendly! The food was awful, and the hotel had no entertainment whatsoever like was advertised in the brochure. The all inclusive guests were also complaining that the ice creams were not free like advertised also. All together, I am very disappointed with the lack of information advertised in the brochure. I always go abroad with Thomas cook, twice a year, and found this trip to be very disappointing. I will be writing a letter to the head office, as I am very very disappointed.


General Comments

I would go back to Egypt, but I wouldn't stay at the Creative Grand Sharm Resort, and I wouldn't book with Thomas Cook again either, as I feel thoroughly let down. I hope they look into these complaints. We also have 5 other couples who will verify what we have said. So I hope this gets investigated before even more complaints come through.
