Good Points

Does what it says. Initially, great battery life. Decent software, (although I had to get used to it, and overall iTunes is better). Cheap and simple to use.


Bad Points

If something goes wrong, which it inevitably will, there is no shop you can take it to: You have to send it off to Singapore. The FM/recording accessory that you can buy is RUBBISH! Mine didn't even last 6 months before it started developing flaws, and now it is practically useless. No wonder they discontinued it. The headphone socket on my Zen Touch is almost completely gone now, and I've had the unit for about 15 months, (see first point). Volume is pretty average, even at highest point. Go to any shop that sells accessories for iPod's (there are loads) and try and find ANYTHING for the Zen Touch: you can't can you?


General Comments

I have nothing to compare it to, as it's the only MP3 player that I've owned, but although it's good enough when it works, the poor quality of manufacture, lack of access to Creative and lack of accessories available is annoying, and it makes me wish I'd gone with the flock and got an iPod instead.
