There are no good points. These people are unexperienced, unskilled and unprofessional. absolute nightmare.
Bad Points
It appeared that the person who came around to my house had no experience or skill at dog grooming at all. I was told my dog would have his ears cleaned, nails clipped, coat clipped and bathed for £26. In the end he was only given a bath and charged £20. He did attempt to clip the fur but was using the wrong equipment and did it in the wrong direction before stopping and telling me he could not continue as the fur was not long enough and the dog was too wriggly. Leaving my poor dog with missing chunks of fur on his back!! He also warned us before hand that the clippers tend to 'catch and nic' the skin!! this was our first time with this sort of service and have since been shown the correct way and there was certainly no cutting of the skin!! my dog has since been to a proffesional dog groomer who managed to do the whole grooming process perfectly with no injuries and for £6 less! I called to complain and was refused an explanation or a refund and was spoken to agressively and rudely. I have since reported these rogue traders to trading standards who will be making enquiries.
General Comments
These people should not be allowed to run such a business. They are rude, agressive, unproffesional and unexperienced. My dog was traumatised and could have been injured!
We essentially paid £20 for a man in a van to bath our dog. I am absolutely disgusted and pray trading standards will follow the complaint through thoroughly.

on 19th Oct 2006ok here is my points of dissagrement to review;we are not uneperienced, unskilled, and unprofessional;we have 4 years experience at dog grooming; we quoted £23 for service ; i was not using wrong equipment and did not clip in wrong direction ;i did not say fur was not long enough; there was not missing chuncks from dogs back; the clippers do not catch and nic the skin; i did not injure the dog; my wife was shouted at down the phone so hung up; we are not rouge traders; we are not rude and agressive; hope this helps you see our point ..........

on 19th Oct 2006I would like to draw a line under this sorry incident.
I have spoken to the proprieters of Bubbles Dog Wash via e-mail over the last few days and an ammicable agreement could not be reached as we obviously would like a refund for what we consider to be substandard service. A refund has not been offered and as far as we are concerened that is the end of the matter.
It is every consumers right to take things further if they feel they have recieved poor service and that is exactly what we have done, websites like this one are here to help people choose the right products and services for them.
We believe that we have been badly treated and stand by our review.
