General Comments

My dad bought me a Fiat Brava 1.4SX for my 18th in January. Due to problems I didn't get it on the road until the start of May. Less than 2 months later, it was back sitting on my driveway. I'd blown a hole in the engine, which was leaking oil and had covered the whole of under the bonnet in it. It had just had a new head gasket when I got it and within the first 2 weeks I'd had it in the garage, as a cable had come off leaving me with no power.

The back windscreen heater lights comes on every time you use your lights or indicators. The radio doesn't work. The injection light keeps appearing when I'm driving and won't go off. It gets about 80mph and has hardly any power to go faster.

All round its a bad car. I'm now getting a new 1.4i SX engine for it and if this goes too, then I'm writing to Fiat. I can't believe that they could bring out a car as bad as this. I'm doing mechanics and I wouldn't put the time of day into repairing it if it goes wrong again.
