Good resale value, plenty of parts, easy to work on and fix. Size - can sleep in it. Can fit a good size roof rack
Fuel economy, both diesel and petrol, is ordinary. Interior vehicle noise. Bumpy ride. Size.
The Toyota Landcruiser is a great vehicle that can tackle heavy off road conditions, sand, snow, rock and mud. Has enough power to tow a reasonable trailer. The troopy is a great touring/camping vehicle. They are very reliable with the IHZ engine commonly exceeding 400k Kilometres before needing any work.
It's a classic vehicle.
