Foot bed is poor
Shoe is dangerous on most smooth surfaces
Being strapped for cash, I saw these £7.99 GX Walking & Hiking Shoes in Netto - last pair and my size. They looked well made and comfortable, with a strong tread pattern and rather long laces.
After a few weeks of wear, I noticed that I could feel the moulding of the sole through the foot bed and that the tread pattern was not showing any sign of wear, rather it was shining and this was despite wearing them most days. This made walking on surfaces like laminate tricky to say the least.
These shoes are dangerous and I suppose for £8 they seemed good value at the time, but now a couple of month's later, they are only fit for the bin.
