I have banked with them for over 35 years. This week I tried to transfer £19,000 to an account at another bank. The internet banking would only let me transfer £1,000 per day, and on being advised to go to a branch, they would only transfer £5,000 per day unless I paid £20.00 for a TT. What is the point of a bank that will take your money and when you want it back charge you for the privilege? I am moving my account to Nationwide, as they let you transfer £10,000 per transaction on the internet, and you can make more than one transfer per day.
I feel Barclays bank has lost it's way. We are the customer and it is our money they are looking after.
