General Comments

I ordered a cheap PC system and they took money from my credit card the day after. After 1 week there was still no delivery. I contacted them and was told that they were waiting for motherboards, which could take 3 weeks. I couldn't wait another 3 weeks so I cancelled my order.

2 weeks has passed and still no refund. I did manage to get an email confirming my order was cancelled and could take up to 7 days to refund. After another 9 days I am still waiting, and I still can't get through to their accounts department. Everyone I have spoken to has a "don't care less" attitude. No one is ever available to speak to you, and the ones that are are very unhelpful.

I will use Misco in future.

    I have since visited their premises, and it is just a house. They did not answer the door when I knocked. Trading standards say due to the distance selling regulations they have up to 30 days only to refund. Mine has exceeded the 30 days and it is now with My credit card company and trading standards.

    I am in the same boat Trevor. I've been waiting for E PC Buyer since June! Mine's only £50 though! How do I claim back off my credit card? Can you do the process online!

    I have had my refund on the 14th of October since sending them a letter stating that they had up to 30 days to refund, due to the distance selling regulations or else Trading Standards would deal with them. Anthony99 and other users, I suggest you ring the consumer direct helpline, and also contact your credit card company who should send out the necessary forms to claim your money back.
