Exceptional fuel consumption for 1.6 engine and 120hp.
Very strong breaks, which is a must for such a powerful engine, and you can feel the power.
Amazing view despite very low driver position - feels like in the cinema.
The most comfortable seats I've ever experienced in Japanese (or any other) car - 5 hours of driving feels like 20 minutes.
Very easy steering - feels like you are rolling the world around with just a touch of a finger.
Probably the most reliable car in the world - never breaks down, and the engine, they say, will last forever.
Stiff ride - well, most CIVIC's are sporty and destined mostly for highways.
The car is very low and doesn't like bumps - you feel them all.
Low safety according to official tests, and no safety accessories - after all, it is early 90's.
Relatively expensive repair costs (although the car never breaks down, so...).
Weak steering feedback - the usual problem of most power-steering cars.
It is a unique car, and they don't make them like this anymore. I had one for several years and got to love it each year more and more. Exceptionally comfortable driver and back-seat experience. Great control over driving in every possible aspect. Fantastic economy. In short, It is THE car for those who like to enjoy driving. Pure joy for the driver and the whole family.
