Really fast car for an 18 year old!
Looks good, well, better than some 98 cars!
Fuel economy
I brought my Citroen Saxo VTR about 3 weeks ago! It's absolutely amazing! I love it, it's so fast, considering I went from a 1.2 Corsa! It's so fast, it's so nice when other cars get up your rear and you just put your foot down and leave them standing when they least expect it! It's such a fun and exciting car to drive, it's like a real life Go-Kart! Jeremy Clarkson referred to it as a Rocket Powered Shopping Trolley! Now, it's up to you how you take that, good or bad, it still means it's pretty fast! For an 18 year old, this car is extremely fast!
Can't really comment on the overall reliability because I haven't had it long enough really! All the extras for a 98 car: electric windows, power steering, fog lights, sun roof, etc., comes with built in immobiliser as well, works from the key when you put it in ignition. I have a Toad AI606 fitted to mine which I'd recommend to anyone, gives you extra things like total closure, where it shuts your windows when you lock it, locks your doors when you turn your ignition on, etc.
If you're considering buying one, don't consider it, just buy it! You won't regret it!
