It is a doddle to use and set-up. Superb 'crema' on the espresso, and excellent frothing for cappuccino. It also looks great!

It drips a bit into the removable easy clean tray. I also have to wait for thermostat to reach a higher temperature for frothing. However, in this time you can sugar your espresso, and it really is only a matter of about thirty seconds.

The Kenwood ES547 Cafe Retro Espresso Machine is brilliant, and I would definitely recommend it.

    Bought my Kenwood ES547 in December 2005. It stopped working in March 2006. I sent it for repair, and it was a problem with the pump. It stopped working again in June, after two months when I still had not received my machine back, as they were waiting for a part (again the pump) from Japan!! I asked Kenwood for a replacement. The replacement stopped working in December 2006 (same problem), and I have now asked for a refund. Great espresso, very disappointing espresso machine. I would not recommend it unless it was just for show with the odd use for after dinner coffee.
