Good Points

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the accommodation was superb,! The location was also superb, as was the cleanliness. I have never seen so many cleaners! They were constantly ensuring that things were kept neat and tidy.


Bad Points

Trying to find a seat and table at meal times.
The (local) alcoholic drinks were a bit 'iffy' to say the least, except for the brandy.
The cooked food was cold most of the time.


General Comments

We basically got what we paid for on this holiday. We could not fault the hotels, as they were superb. The beach was kept clean, the lifeguards took their duties seriously, and we never had a problem getting a sun-bed on the beach or at the pools. The staff were at all times attentive, and I have never seen such a clean hotel. Our accommodation was superb in every way, and we could not have asked for better service than that provided by the room-maids.

The food could have been better. But in saying that, we never failed to find something on the menu that we liked. Transport by taxi or bus to the surrounding resorts was always available. The trip by boat from the hotel pier to Nessabar is good value for money, but do what we did; don't just spend a few hours there. Get the bus to Sunny Beach and then another bus to Nessabar and take the time to have a lovely meal in the wonderful restaurants (I recommend the one almost at the top of the hill overlooking the bay to the north. The food was the best ever.

All in all, it was a perfect holiday, and it was only spoiled by watching a couple of young English louts vandalising the sun-beds on the beach late at night. Thankfully the security is so good they got their come-uppance. I would recommend this resort to anyone.
