Good Points

The hotel itself was pleasant and the rooms were very nice.
There was a wide choice of well presented food both at breakfast and at evening "dinner".

General Comments

I would not return to this hotel, although the location, appearance and food on the whole was quite nice, but I have stayed in much nicer hotels of a similar type.

The experience of "dining" in the evening was not one I would like to repeat. It was more like a cafeteria than a dining room. Plates were snatched from under your nose whether your partner (in my case my husband) had finished their course or not. It was a question of being fed rather than dining in comfort and peace. The tables were very close together and the noise from plates and cutlery being thrown around was tremendous. Tables were sometimes cleared and re-laid, when in fact we had only gone to choose our next course. All together spoiled my holiday. The pool area was very regimental rather than being able to move a sunbed to a chosen spot, so we did not use the pool, which is normally one of my highlights of a relaxing holiday. Staff were not very helpful when requests were made, although that did not apply to all staff. The entertainment room or bar was certainly not to my liking, as it reminded me of a working mans club, which is not what you expect when you are looking for a relaxing holiday.
