Good Points
Rewarding, soft, powerful feel when hit well.
Great trajectory.
Miss-hits are not too punnishing- feedback will encourage you on your next shot, not put you off owning them.

Bad Points
May loose a litltle distance compared to some newer cavity backs (such as the TM R7 XD which is a very powerful cavity back)..
An ability to hit well flighted shots required,- 'not for the beginner!'

General Comments
What more can i say! These are excellent irons. Well struck shots feel superb, and very rewarding, giving you the desire to hit more and more good shots with these irons.

Many people say that you have to be a single figure handicap to use these. I am around a 14 handicap. As my swing progressed with my old cavity backs, I tried these as advised by a golf pro, and loved them. They take a bit of work and some miss-hits, but you crave for well struck shots with these, as they are very rewarding to hit well. This in turn, improves your swing. People call cavity backs 'game improvement irons'. The way i see it, 'if you want to improve your game, improve your swing!'In my book, these are excellent game improvement irons' as they give you excellent feedback on each shot, and will help you develop a better swing, which in turn develops an 'improved game'.

Regardless of handicap (even if you are a 20 handicap), if you have a reasonably sound swing and can strike through the ball well, and you are looking to improve, these clubs are definatley worth a try, and don't be too put off by the fact that these are blades. A miss-hit will not leave your hands feeling 'numb'! A miss-hit will still feel soft, but the club will twist a little with poor ball flight to let you know you hit off centre. This will only encourage you for the next shot. Regular practice with these will deliver the goods.

However, if you are a beginner, or have difficulty getting a good flight on each shot, you may be better served with something more forgiving- such as the mx 23's which I would reccomend as they give you forgiveness and feedback.

What else?- Workability with the mp33 very too.
