General Comments

The Di Lusso fitted kitchen was meant to be fitted on 19th August 2006, but no one turned up. Three days later they did but the order was not complete and we're still waiting, now 25th September 2006, and I found out receivers are in Manchester office, don"t know what's going on!

Please leave me a comment and let me know if you have heard anything further - we are in a similar position.

We are in similar situation. The Di Lusso kitchens rep turned up om the 9th of September to measure up etc, and a Surveyor was expected on the 19th of September but didn't show up, so we chased up Di Lusso to find the website down, no phones working and our deposit gone. Infinity Kitchens contacted me yesterday to say they have bought all outstanding orders and will send out a surveyor tomorrow and fit the kitchen to exactly the same spec as the Di Lusso contract. Now I have read it's the same director running from the same office and I am mystified. Thanks for the reviews on this subject. It is a great help.

Please let me know how things go with Infinity. To say I am sceptical is an understatement. They are acting like they are doing us a favour and demanding all the cash up front - with no guarantees and no new contract - i.e. absolutely no leg to stand on if Di Lusso Kitchen's don't deliver their spoken promises. We don't want to throw any good money after the bad, and we can't afford to anyway! I'm currently writing to Watchdog.

I have made an enquiry about a kitchen, and Infinity Kitchens have called me to arrange a designer to come and do a plan etc. From what I have read on Review Centre, would it be fair to say don't bother? As it seems that everyone has had nothing but headaches! I would be grateful for your opinions.

    Many thanks

Since my last comments, we were (again) approached by Infinity. This time the deal they offered was much more secure and was backed by GE Capital via a finance plan (0% interest).
We decided to take the chance and see if they would deliver the kitchen originally promised to us by Di Lusso.

They arranged delivery within a few weeks, fitting took 3 days and their customer service throughout was exceptional - with daily phone calls to check everything was going smoothly. We now have a brand new, beautiful kitchen - as per the original spec.

Obviously, it is still very hard to forget about the terrible shock when we thought we had lost everything, but Infinity certainly did try hard to put things right. If they carry on this type of service with their new customers, I can imagine that they will mend their reputation, and even become a very popular company.
