Amazing balance, well built, very little maintenance, powerful and accurate
A little hard to cock, sorts the men from the boys
When I got my Weihrauch HW90I, was looking to buy a cheap air rifle cause I have been dying to get back into it for years I was considering the SMK xs79 but learnt there wasn't enough power for live quarry. I used to own a Webley Vulcan and enjoyed every shot with that gun so I went looking for a second hand Vulcan. My price range was £100-£150 max, and then I stumbled on a cracker. I found the Weihrauch HW90 rifle in Neath gun shop, for the amazing price of £175, including Webley 3-9x40 scopes and the stock was in mint condition. I had to have it even though I was breaking my set price. I'm so glad I did, what a rifle! It feels so right, now I wonder why I had given it up in the first place?
If your looking for a great all round gun but can't afford much, go out and buy a second hand HW90. The maintenance is minimal and it is a top rifle and the power stays high so you know you're not buying a rotter.
