Good Points

Jardin Del Mar apartments were lovely and spacious, the cleanliness was brilliant and cannot be faulted. The staff on reception were very helpful and the swimming pool was smashing although the indoor pool was not open whilst we were there even though we had bad storms but this really only effected one day so wasn't too worried about that. The location was great and the shops were not far away. Visit the square where there is great entertainment every night. Very family orientated. Plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from. The one that we would recommend is the Duke of Yorks which is up a little hill. The service is brilliant and when you get a meal off their special list it is still large portions and great value and they treat you no different than if you got a meal off the main menu (unlike some other restaurants we went to). The swimming pool bar served very good food and drinks and the staff were all very friendly.


Bad Points

The hotel's entertainment wasn't up to much although the young girls who were the entertainers tried hard and I cannot fault them for that. The kitchen was poorly equipped for self catering, there was only two rings and if you wanted a toaster you had to hire it, apart from that it is well worth the stay and we had a smashing view overlooking the sea. If you were the unlucky ones who were on the lower ground there is a good chance that your view would have been a brick wall so if you are thinking of going then request a seaview and you should not go far wrong. It would have been nice to have had the square's entertainment changed fortnightly (as that is when most people go for) but it was changed weekly and you didn't always want to see the same thing twice.


General Comments

I was a bit disappointed with our holiday rep as we didn't see one from the time we got on the coach until the time we reached the airport. Thankfully the receptionists were on hand to answer any questions we had. The resort is very family orientated. I went with my partner but it was nice for us to see children there and we had no problems with that. Would recommend this holiday and would go again and would love to stay at the same apartments.
