General Comments

I just bought the Walther CP-Sport and I love it. It's louder than I thought it would be, but that's not a bad thing. I used up my first CO2 cartridge faster than I thought I would. Still, that's not a bad thing either. CO2 is cheap. This is my first pistol so I don't really have anything else to compare it with.

As soon as I got my hands on it and my finger on the trigger, it's like, uh oh.....this is not going to turn out well, with a huge grin on my face, but I haven't broken anything of value yet and I haven't shot my eye out, so I think I'll be alright. As we all know it would be nice if it was single action as well, but for the price, I'm not complaining. I could only find the CPS with the starter kit, which includes co2, pellets, targets and goggles, which somewhat upsets me because I already have pellets and goggles and at the rate I'm going through co2, I will most likely have to stock up on that as well. It came out to just over $200 Canadian.

The quality of the gun is outstanding and I love just holding it. Before I bought it, I spent much time on this site, and others like it, reading as much about it as possible. The CPS is for beginners like me, but I can completely understand why some professionals would dis the CPS and pick it apart, but for me it's more than adequate.

I have heard of the co2 seals failing if the cartridge is left in too long. I am wondering how long it too long and wondering how often should I oil it?
